The Avett Brothers have gone from barnstorming beer halls to selling out arenas across the country. Meanwhile, Jason Isbell's new album was recently number one on Billboard's country, rock, and folk charts. Neither act would be where they are without the support of public radio stations like WNKU.  Your support of WNKU helps nurture great artists like the Avett Bros and Jason Isbell.

A U.S. District Judge last week ordered Clerk Kim Davis to resume issuing marriage licenses despite her objections to gay marriage. The ruling by Judge David Bunning was the result of a lawsuit against Davis by four couples who were denied marriage licenses.

UPDATE: The clerk is appealing last week’s ruling to the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals. She also asked for a stay of the judge’s order, which Bunning has effectively granted.
